At Little Dolphins Swim Academy, we pride ourselves on being more than just a New Jersey swim school. While we provide swim lessons for all ages and learn-to-swim programs, we also teach swimming focused on the principles of compassion, empowerment, family and excellence. A short 5 mile drive from Bridgewater, NJ, Little Dolphins offers free infant swim classes and several scheduling options for parents that include a full range of swim class levels for babies, toddlers, youth and adults.
Our swimming facility and pool is located in Bound Brook, and we provide swim lessons for families and their children in Bridgewater, Piscataway and Warren, and other surrounding New Jersey communities.
Little Dolphins Swim Academy-A Foundation of Swimming Excellence for Parents and Children
Little Dolphins Swim Academy’s mission is anchored by the owner’s lifetime commitment to teaching youth and adults basic swim safety, training specific swim skills and encouraging youth to embrace a lifetime of swimming excellence. Our Owner and Coach, Chuck Warner, has coached competitive swimming for over 40 years. Coach Warner served thirteen years as Rutgers University’s Head Swimming Coach and Chuck has also coached three USA National Swimming Teams, seven National Swimming Championship Teams and directly contributed to athletes winning Olympic gold medals in swimming.
Coach Warner’s highly-regarded summer kids swim camps and clinics, that he’s operated in New Jersey for over 25 years, led him to establish Little Dolphins Swim Academy 15 years ago near Bridgewater, to specifically share his passion for swimming with all ages…developing swim programs for infants, children, teenagers and adult students.
The culmination of Coach Warner’s effective swim coaching career was being voted into the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Hall of Fame in 2022. Chuck stands as one of only 3 New Jersey swim coaches and one of less than 100 lifetime inductees in the history of the ASCA Hall of Fame.
In addition, Coach Warner, along with Little Dolphins Swim Academy founded the New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance (www.njswimsa.org), an organization that serves to coordinate all water safety bodies into a family of organizations dedicated to reducing the number of drownings in New Jersey

Coach Warner’s decision to name Little Dolphins a “Swim Academy” was based on a desire and commitment to be more than just a “swim school”. With a career that has focused on high-performance swim skill instruction and working with thousands of competitive swimmers aged 7 to 17, Little Dolphins added a comprehensive curriculum for 0-6 year olds, with coaching excellence and basic swim safety training for parents who want their children to be comfortable and secure in the water. Little Dolphins’ options for ongoing swim instruction are available to complete a lifetime progressive path for any level of swimmer.
From parents introducing their baby to the water, to teaching toddlers basic swimming techniques that improve their neurological development, brain stimulation and motor skills from as early as six months old, Little Dolphins swim coaching staff is well-trained and able to assist if a parent and their child have interest in transitioning to a competitive swimming team.
Located at 424 Vosseller Avenue, in Bound Brook, Little Dolphins Swim Academy is a short drive and near Bridgewater, NJ, just off Route 22 and Interstate 287.
The Little Dolphins Swim Program and Skill Development
Over the years, Little Dolphins has developed student-centered programs for our swim academy that lead each student’s mind forward, guiding them through challenges and transitions to develop them into a safe and skilled swimmer. Swimming is a life skill and we review our students’ progress step by step, week by week and year by year…teaching young children, teens and adults to become proficient swimmers with outstanding swim skills.
Our curriculum and methodology was developed by some of the best professional swim coaches and instructors in the world. Our goal is to help your child become water-safe as quickly as possible, while they learn to love swimming at the same time.
By making the learn-to-swim experience interesting and enjoyable, we are able to attract even the youngest children toward exploring and developing their swimming skills. Once we move past the initial stages of getting comfortable in the water, we are able to help students quickly learn strong swimming skills to help them become safe in the water.

While Little Dolphins Swim Academy’s swimming lessons and development system works extensively with babies, toddlers and youth, we also specialize in teaching adults basic swim skills as well.
